Flexible Learning That Adapts to You

Our program recognizes something important: everyone learns differently. Some people need to see the bigger picture first, while others prefer diving straight into hands-on practice. We've built our curriculum around this reality.

Instead of forcing everyone through identical steps, we offer multiple pathways through the same material. You might start with theory if that helps you understand the why behind each technique, or jump into project work if you learn better by doing.

Hands-On Practice

Your Schedule, Your Pace

We know you have a life outside of learning video editing. Maybe you're working full-time, managing family responsibilities, or dealing with unpredictable schedules that change week to week.

That's why our fall 2025 program offers three different scheduling options. Evening sessions work well for people with day jobs, weekend intensives suit those who prefer concentrated learning blocks, and our hybrid model lets you mix both approaches.

  • Evening sessions: Tuesday/Thursday 7-9 PM
  • Weekend intensives: Saturday 9 AM-4 PM
  • Hybrid flexibility: Mix and match as needed
  • Makeup sessions for missed classes

Personalized Learning Tracks

After the first two weeks, you'll choose a specialization track based on your interests and career goals. This isn't about limiting what you learn — it's about going deeper into what excites you most.

Our narrative editing track focuses on storytelling and pacing for documentaries and short films. The commercial track emphasizes quick turnarounds and client communication. The technical track dives deep into color grading and audio post-production.

  • Narrative editing for film and documentary
  • Commercial and promotional content
  • Technical specialization in color and audio
  • Cross-track project collaboration

Community-Centered Learning

Learning happens best when you're part of a community that supports your growth. Our program connects you with instructors, peers, and industry professionals who understand the journey you're on.

Support That Actually Helps

We've all been in programs where getting help feels like navigating a maze. You submit a question through some portal, wait days for a response, and then get an answer that doesn't quite address what you were asking.

Our approach is different. You have direct access to instructors during class time and scheduled office hours. Plus, we maintain an active discussion space where students help each other solve problems — often faster than any formal support system could.

Direct Instructor Access
Office hours twice weekly, plus email responses within 24 hours
Peer Learning Network
Student-led study groups and collaborative problem-solving sessions
Technical Resources
Equipment lending library and software troubleshooting guides
Career Development
Portfolio reviews and industry connection opportunities
